![]() The cutterhead shroud includes porting for water-jetting. Our cutterheads are manufactured with readily serviceable wear parts. Those circuits include the cutterhead, pump, windlass, and winches. The power plant turns hydraulic pumps to deliver horsepower to all of the hydraulic circuits as needed. We have chosen a JCB engine to power the Dino8, for performance, reliability, and global support. It all starts with a set of compartmentalized stainless steel floats, that we manufacture in house and pressure check prior to utilizing. It does not disturb the shoreline and leaves no footprint that needs to be repaired.The Dino8 dredge is a sediment removal system designed with the small footprint we are known for, and the incredible pumping capacity we always deliver. When the work is completed, the DINO Six is easily lifted out of the water and loaded onto a trailer, just like a boat. All other parts are finished with a highly durable powder coating to prevent rust and corrosion. The floats are constructed of high grade stainless steel. For dewatering into ENVIROTUBES, this flow rate is superb.Īlthough the DINO Six is lightweight, it is made of materials and components that are tougher and longer-lasting than those of much larger machines. The sediment is then carried away at up to 1600 GPM by our abrasion-resistant hydraulic submersible pump. Sediment is excavated and moved to the inlet of the pump by a direct horizontal cutter head. The system is simple and easy to operate. Weighing only 3000 pounds, the DINO six can access retention ponds, golf courses, sediment lagoons, home association lakes, marinas and a myriad of other tasks that excavators and hydraulic dredges simply cannot get to.
